I am enjoying this week, because I actually have some free time! Last week I finished up a 6-week run of teaching Faith Formation. I had originally planned not to teach again but after taking 2 all-day classes at the Diocese on Catechesis and Evangelization I felt much more confident and gave it another try. It went rather well, and my co-teacher and I are very encouraged. We’ve tried to keep it lively and interesting, and Father David has, too. It’s hard, when you only have an hour and a half for 12 weeks total to teach about the faith. I keep reminding myself to do the best I can with what I’ve been given.
Friday Madeline and I head to Savannah, GA for another college visit, this time to SCAD, Savannah College of Art & Design. It will be a quick trip but I am looking forward to it. It will be fun to see SCAD and it will also be a nice little break from the routine. I am very much looking forward to it.
Applying to art school has been different than applying to regular schools.
